Early morning threats have led to a significant police response at a West Vancouver school. In a press release, West Vancouver Police said they were notified of a potential threat to West Vancouver Secondary School early morning.
The few students and staff on site have been evacuated, and officers continue clearing the building.
The school has reached out to the parents and has asked students to stay home from school at this time. “We ask that members of the public avoid the area and follow police instructions,” said Suzanne Birch, spokesperson for the West Vancouver Police Department. “Neighbours can expect can increased police presence throughout the day.”
