The Global Canadian is now ‘North Shore Daily Post’.
We started out as a print publication in 2017 with circulation in North Vancouver and West Vancouver, and later transitioned to a digital news outlet.
We brought you local news and views along with coverage of global issues keeping in mind the cosmopolitan character of North Shore.
We will now have a sharper focus on local news, as many of our readers had advised, while also bringing you interesting and under-reported news from across the world, especially on Asian issues, and sustainable and traditional lifestyles and practices.
Our new name, ‘North Shore Daily Post’, reflects our renewed commitment to keep you informed on local issues as well as a shout-out to advertisers who want to reach local customers.
Enjoy your paper! We need it!
Congratulations!
I love the new name and renewed focus! Good luck!
I think this is so needed. So thank you for refocusing on your papers new mission.
AT LAST COMPETITON FOR THE NORTH SHORE NEWS…………WELL DONE
Reporting especially on Asian issues??? Why pick out one denomination over others? Should be reporting on „all issues of interest „ to our population,,,,,,,,,,,,
Great move
congratulations!
I have always appreciated your views and the focus of residents input in the newspaper.
A refreshing publication presenting an unbiased look at political views on the North Shore.
Is there a cost??
Excellent and thank you.
Excellent, happy you are still going strong! thank you.
So nice to have an alternative to Globalist publications. Congrats on new name!
Please do a story on how the Coronavirus plandemic has devastated businesses – not to mention the world – on the North Shore based on direction from the corrupt WHO and very questionable modelling, and how the hospitals all over the world are not in fact overwhelmed but old folks (the people who built this country) in the care homes are paying the biggest price for shoddy health care. See the hashtags #FilmYourHospital #EmptyHospitals Also see the YouTube videos of Jason Goodman (New York city).
As always I wish you well in all your endeavors. Thank you for bring a focus to what is important for our community
I suggest you arrange to email a link to “subscribers” each day.
The Global Canadian was a good read and I thought it had folded. I am glad I found the NSDP website by accident but would have appreciated some announcements of the change, and suspect there are other GC readers in the same boat.
Good luck — newspapers remain an essential service!
