There has been a shooting incident in Whistler that claimed the life of two people, although nothing has been confirmed by the police.
The shooting took place at a hotel in the Whistler Village, according to an eyewitness who called the North Shore Daily Post shortly after the shooting.

An employee who works at the Pan Pacific Hotel told the North Shore Daily Post that all hotels and the police and paramedics are responding the incident that took place at noon.
At least 8 rounds were fired and one man was injured in the shooting.
