Vancouver Coastal Health has made COVID-19 saline gargle tests now available to adults in North Vancouver.
However, no eating, drinking, smoking or brushing of teeth is allowed one hour before the test.
They are being provided at the following two locations in North Vancouver
ICBC Capilano Claims Centre
255 Lloyd Avenue, North Vancouver.
Open daily, 8 am to 7 pm.
Walk-up and drive-through services are available at this centre. Testing is available for ages 4 and above and saline test is available for children and adults.
North Vancouver Urgent & Primary Care Centre (UPCC)
221 W. Esplanade, Suite 200 in North Vancouver.
Monday to Saturday, 8 am to 10 pm, and Sundays from 9 am to 5 pm
Testing is available for all ages.
Meanwhile, VCH says testing is available for all who need it but not everyone requires a test.
If you think you have symptoms, use the BC COVID-19 Self-Assessment Tool to help determine if you need further assessment or testing for COVID-19.
You can complete this assessment for yourself, or on behalf of someone else, if they are unable to.
