A young motorcyclist is dead after a crash on Saturday in North Vancouver. Officers responded to the accident on Low-Level Road around 10 pm.
Police have yet to issue an official press release, but according to a media report, the motorcyclist died on the scene after crashing into a concrete retaining wall. Several witnesses reported seeing a young motorcyclist speeding eastbound, losing control, and crashing into a retaining wall made of cement and steel on the south side.
“The investigation is ongoing, and speed appears to be a factor. Our sincere condolences to the man’s family during this difficult time. Anyone affected by this tragedy can seek support from our victim services unit at 604-985-1311,” North Vancouver RCMP said.
