District of North Vancouver Firefighters Charitable Society has partnered with the Harvest Project of the North Shore to help the most vulnerable people affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
For this, DNV Firefighters Charitable Society has launched a donation campaign on gofundme.com
With the help of the Society, the Harvest Project will be able to deliver groceries to isolated seniors, purchase grocery gift cards for those financially strained, offer counselling services for those struggling with mental health, and so much more.
“Our most vulnerable need us now more than ever,” the Society says.
“We understand this is a difficult time for many to donate but if you’re in a position to, please do,” it says.
The Society will match the donations up to $15,000.
