COVID vaccination capacity increased in North Vancouver

Dates for the drop-in are June 22, 23, 24, from 7 pm to 10 pm.
STAFF REPORT
June 21, 2021 4:16pm

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is expanding COVID-19 vaccination appointment capacity at several of its sites, including one in North Vancouver.

The health agency is also offering drop-in spots to support the ongoing delivery of COVID-19 vaccinations.

The clinic is located at the ICBC Claim Centre at 255 Lloyd Ave. Dates for the drop-in are June 22, 23, 24, from 7 pm to 10 pm.

As many as 50 drop-in spots per day are available at the site. Eligibility is for age 12-69 for first dose only, and age 70 above for first or second dose.

VCH strongly encourages eligible people in the region aged 12 and older, who haven’t received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, to book an appointment today or to drop-in to one of its convenient locations for easy access to same-day appointments, with managed wait times.

People aged 70 years of age and older (those born in 1951 or earlier) may attend a drop-in clinic for first or second doses.

All are welcome at the clinics, VCH says, including those without personal health numbers and people who are not residents of B.C.

Staff will be available on-site to help people register and book appointments at other clinics throughout the region if needed, and can help answer all vaccine-related questions.
