CN train cars carrying sulphur derailed near Mosquito Creek marina entrance in North Vancouver, though no injuries have been reported.
The two cars derailed on Sunday at approximately 7:40 pm.
“The railcars contain solid sulfur, a mineral used in a variety of household and industrial products. Preliminary information indicates that there was a leak of solid sulfur contained to CN’s property and that there are no fires, injuries, or danger to public safety,” CN said in a statement.
